B'ruchim Haba'im!!!

After very long flights, All of our travelers arrived safely in Israel!  The last time we were all together was at the Shabbat service on June 14 where the TAE community gave us a beautiful blessing wishing us a safe and meaningful trip.  Here we are by our sign that is displayed in the hotel lobby.  We are all a little sleepy and jet lagged, but ready to truly experience Israel together.

After arriving we went to the Haas Promenade, the same place that Abraham first viewed Jerusalem, and sang shehechianu together and toasted with grape juice.  Yes, even grape juice tastes sweeter in Jerusalem!  Here is me with our terrific guide, Tzvi, who will be leading us as we travel.

After checking into the hotel we went and had a delicious welcome dinner where we discussed our plans for the next day and our intentions for the trip.  We are not tourists; we are on a pilgrimage to discover more about ourselves.  Tomorrow we get an early start as we spend the entire day in the Old City.
